The RackNRail overhead storage system provides a high quality overhead storage solution. It is designed to be adjustable, changeable, expandable and capable of accommodating almost any width of storage totes and bins. RackNRail can be affixed to almost any overhead wooden structure (i.e. ceiling joists) over garage doors, on ceilings and in basements. Your RackNRail system can be mounted either along the ceiling joists or across them, depending on which way you prefer to access your totes. Your new RackNRail Overhead Garage Storage system can even be mounted at an angle for difficult to fit spaces. RackNRail is not meant for use on drop ceilings, metal ceilings, sheet-rock only or any other surface that might require a molly or anchor to secure.

RackNRail also offers the flexibility of adding a myriad of add-on accessories that address an even wider range of storage needs. For instance:

• - Ships in a 6 inch x 8 inch x 48 inch box.
• - Approximate weight of 1 unit is 47 lbs.
• - Each RackNRail unit holds 9-12 totes depending on size and weight.
• - Max weight for the entire system is 500 lbs distributed evenly.
• - Totes should be no heaver then 40 lbs or the max rating of the tote WHICHEVER IS LESS.
• - Approximate area needed to install 1 unit is 46 square feet or 7 foot 4 inches X 6 foot 4 inches plus the length of the longest tote. This allows room for loading and unloading totes into the rails.
• - Maximum height of tote is the minimum clearance above your garage door minus 4 inches.
• - Use a minimum of eight 3” Lag Screws (provided) to install support rails to the supporting structure.
• - Product is manufactured using high quality steel, and the hardware is grade 5 or better. RackNRail is also powder coated white for long life and to ease the sliding of totes.
• - Only a few tools are needed to install your new RackNRail.

• - 8 foot Ladder
• - Stud finder
• - Marking pencil
• - 1/2 inch wrench
• - Electric drill with a 1/8 inch drill bit
• - Electric screwdriver with a 7/16 inch socket
• - Safety glasses/goggles
